Brazil Table

Sesc's Mesa Brasil aims to promote citizenship and quality of life. The aim is to reduce food waste and achieve food security for children, young people, adults and the elderly, mobilizing and carrying out educational actions and encouraging solidarity and community development. We collaborate by donating our surplus volume of fruits to promote the project’s actions.

Reeducando Project

Jaguacy Brasil, since 2008, has been promoting the project to hire re-educating inmates from penitentiaries I and II in the city of Bauru, which are in a semi-open prison regime.

Working with re-educated students is an action of social responsibility that helps re-educate the re-educated person, providing better self-esteem to the individual, familiarity with the structure of a company, understanding rights and duties and remuneration for the services provided. In addition, there is a reduction in sentence – for every three days of work, the prisoner has one less sentence to serve.

Friends of nature

We carry out partnership work with the Bauru Botanical Garden project. Our collaboration reinforces the commitment to the environment and the organization's activities.

The garden's purpose is to promote awareness about conservation, education and research related to the environment, especially the flora and fauna of the cerrado region and the Brazilian Atlantic forest.
